      Ο Αθλητικός Όμιλος Κολοσσός Ρόδου είναι ελληνικό αθλητικό σωματείο που δραστηριοποιείται στη Ρόδο , το μεγαλύτερο νησί των Δωδεκανήσων . Επίσημο έτος ίδρυσής του είναι το 1963 και οι αθλητές του αγωνίζονται με χρώματα το γαλάζιο και το λευκό . Αντλεί το όνομα και το έμβλημά του από το τεραστίων διαστάσεων άγαλμα που κατασκευάστηκε κατά την αρχαιότητα στο νησί, τον περίφημος Κολοσσό της Ρόδου , ένα από τα επτά θαύματα του αρχαίου κόσμου . Ο σύλλογος διατηρεί επαγγελματικό τμήμα καλαθοσφαίρισης ανδρών που διαγωνίζεται στην Α1 Εθνική Κατηγορία με τη νομική ονομασία Κολοσσός Κ.Α.Ε. και τον τίτλο λόγω χορηγίας Κολοσσός Η Hotels . Επιπλέον διατηρεί ερασιτεχνικά τμήματα υποδομής για νεαρούς αθλητές και αθλήτριες, αλλά και τμήμα ποδηλασίας . Στο παρελθόν καλλιεργούσε επίσης τμήματα πετοσφαίρισης , κλασικού αθλητισμού και τζούντο .
